EJC Groundworks Ltd carry out Groundworks & Civil Engineering contracts in every sector of construction, including Residential & Housing, Leisure & Retail, Commercial & Industrial, Domestic, Educational and Healthcare. The basis of contracts range from traditional measured Bills of Quantities, Lump Sum Specification and Drawings, to complete Design and Management, including All Risk to completion.

Based in Newbury, Berkshire, EJC Groundworks operate within an 80 mile radius.

Projects range in size, from small works and maintenance, upto contracts worth £1 million.

Each contract has the direct involvement of the Directors, who are firm believers in the 'hands-on' approach, and will be carried out on site under the supervision of one of our Site Managers, and Site Engineer.

We pride ourselves in being able to carry out the most technical and complex types of works, the more challenging the contract, the more EJC want to secure it. We are experienced in carrying out Groundworks in difficult, restricted access areas with special working conditions, and sites with poor ground conditions.

At EJC Groundworks, health and safety is a priority. Safety Services UK Ltd are employed as advisors and assessors. They ensure all health and safety requirements are kept up to date and achieved. EJC are very experienced in carrying out the role of Principle Contractor on complete management contracts if required. All operatives are directly employed and trained, the majority are CSCS and CPCS qualified. Only approved subcontractors are used where required for precast floors, major formwork and tarmacadam etc..

EJC can carry out all setting out and surveying requirements with experienced Site Engineers and Managers. A full design and technical service can also be provided if required, local Architects and Engineers are employed to carry out design, or resolve designs issues. Professional Indemnity Insurance can be offered together with a variety of warranties to suit the client's needs.
